✅ Who Should Get This Vaccination?

(Suitable for Hajj & Umrah Pilgrims)

  • Hajj pilgrims registered with Tabung Haji

  • Umrah pilgrims travelling through licensed travel agencies

  • Elderly individuals or those with chronic medical conditions

  • Parents travelling with children for Hajj or Umrah

Influenza Vaccine (Hajj & Umrah)

  • Recommended at least 2 weeks before departure

  • Generally safe, except for individuals with egg allergy

  • Strongly recommended for individuals aged 50 and above or those with chronic illnesses

  • Provides protection for up to 1 year

  • Annual booster is recommended to maintain immunity

Pneumococcal Vaccine (Hajj & Umrah)

  • Recommended at least 2 weeks before departure

  • Advised for individuals aged 50 and above or those with chronic medical conditions

  • Helps prevent serious lung infections such as pneumonia

  • Pneumonia is a common health risk among elderly pilgrims

  • Provides protection for up to 5 years
